I've wandering myself, I've got an 13 model but it dives somthing fierce, I put SE heavy wt in my softail and it worked great. But if they have revamped the valving then it may just need to change the oil level and not just the wt.

if you're referring to ronnies, you have to add the parts to your cart and then start the checkout process. it will give you part numbers then. you do not have to enter any personal information to get to this point.

there is no mention of any fork changes in the my13 tech forum. i have the se heavy, not the se race, in my 2010 and like it. it works great for me. stiff enough to not dive sharply on braking, but not so stiff that it feels like solid fork tubes.

Having owned 5 Harleys, I have never had front end dive when applying brakes. Why does it do it on new bikes, while some of us with new bikes have never had that problem...just wondering..

Fork oil change report. Drained forks, 10oz in each, factory fill fluid is red. Changed to SE Heavy Fork Oil. Put 10.5oz in measuring cup (extra .5oz to account for oil loss to funnel and measuring cup). Procedure is the same as prior years. Valving seams to be lighter but most of the dive when braking is gone.

Likewise! I did my 2011 Limited today with SE Heavy. I only got a hair over 10 oz., maybe 10.1 oz., (300 cc's) out of each side. Both sides were identical so that's what I put back in (plus a touch to approximate for the residual left in the measuring cup and funnel), not the 10.7 oz. recommended.

A quick test ride and it feels ok but I'll need a few more miles before I can really make a accurate assessment of the overall performance change. So far I can say the brake dive is slightly reduced and I didn't feel much change in the general ride quality.
