I always thought the wife was a pretty darn good backrest,,, love the muscle bumps!

Just got the $300.00 adjusted back rest formy Ultra, I've adjusted it a few times on long rides by myself.

Plain one works for me. Never need to adjust it either. It a must have for long trips.[:-]

Your right, it works just great, and was a breeze to install.

With four mounting positions forward/aft and three height adjustments, and then a setscrew to tweek it, you can find that comfortable postion, pretty easy.

As far as adjusting it while riding, if I havebecome so uncomfortable as to need to completely change my seating arrangement on the bike. It's time to stop, get off, take a break and streach all of my body.
