Default Mustang touring seat or Mean City Cycles?

I have a 2011 Cvo Ultra and need to get a little closer to the ground. The Mustang touring seat says it will put the rider 1/2 closer to the ground.

I am trying to decide either to order the Mustang touring seat or get a stock Ultra seat and send it to Mean City Cycles.

Please let me know if you have any advice for me.

Thanks!

Which Mustang seat are you looking at?
I've been thinking about selling my solo/pillion set.
It's model #76067 and #75460.

If you're unsure on which way to go, you could save some bucks by going used...

I sent my RKC seat to MCC. Got the super narrow mod. The dealer threw in a badlander seat when I bought the bike.

The MCC seat is WAY better. Only cost about $150. Narrowing the seat does much more than lowering but I did both and don't regret it for a minute.

Can you show us a pic of the super narrow mod? I need to do something about my seat and should consider a narrow mod.

Agree, I have a 12 RKC, had the super narrow - you'd be surprised how much the narrowing helps you to get flat footed. Very comfy seat mod, I'm thrilled with mine.

I had my '11 Street Glide done by Mean City this past spring, I had the driver and passenger seat done. Admittedly I havent tried the Mustang seat but the difference betwwen the MCC mod and the stock seat is amazing. I got butt burn after an hour and a half with the stock seat but the MCC mod makes riding 4 times that no problem. For less than $200? Cant beat it.
I had MCC lower it half an inch and move the driver back half an inch. I am one Happy Customer.
