I have the American Elites and am satisfied with the wear and price, but they do not like tar snakes and there seems to be more sidewall flex than the stock Dunlops.

"Tire made for a medium weight bike". Haven't heard that before. ALWAYS check the max load allowed on the tire before making a final decision, especially if you 2 up at all. It is on the sidewall of your present tire, I wouldn't go any less. If a given tire equals or exceeds the load carrying capability of the factory tire it can handle your bike. The rest is tread compound for how long it will last.

I didnt check the weight cap,however I listened to the video from dunlop on this tire,its specificaly made for the 09 on up ultra classics so i trust their experiance in designing tires Ive ran there elite III radial before it was a great tire on my vulcan voager had no real problems with any Dunlops Ordering The tire from Jake Wison tonight was great service 177.99 free ship be here fri, The front tire was 128.00$ Thats a great break for Harley owners that are getting raped at the dealerships again thanks for yal,s input Eric

American Elites from jake wilson. I believe my bike handles better in the turns with the Elites.
