Default mounting PCIII on bagger

OK, where the *&^%$ do you mount the cable connection? I cannot get it under the battery tray and I can't seem to fit it anywhere else, WTF???? Ideas?

Mine is located behind the right side cover. I used some tie straps to keep it there.

It's zip tied on top of the ECM, but the connection from bike plug to PCIII plug has nowhere to go!

Dawg... The connector will lay nicely under the side plate, towards the front, with the cables pointing towards the ground.

So it doesn't have to be velcroed under the battery tray or zip tied to the side like the instructions say, it can just hang there?

I think it's better under the side plate ~ less exposure to moisture. I also run a zipstrap around the connectors... just to be safe!

I think placing it under the battery tray is for Softails. If I remember correctly, that is where I mounted mine on my Night Train.

I have the unit itself zip tied to the ECM, but the instructions say to either velcro the other big connector under the battery or zip tie it to the side next to the ECM.....neither appears to be working well....don't have enough room and the darn wires on the thing don't bend too well

Mine velcroed easily under the tray. Maybe if you took a photo we'd be able to see why it's being a problem? Funny how things that seem to be cookie cutter really aren't, huh?
