You are wrong one one thing. I DID NOT buy a touring bike for storage or for touring. I bout it because one, that is the style bike I am use to now and the style bike I like.
So no, using the tour pack and bags for storage is not why I bought this bike. And I went as far with the system as I wanted to go, any further and I would have no storage at all. By the time I finish with the bags, i will still be able to store a few items in them. And the tour pack only lost 3" in depth. I still can carry everything I use to in the tour pack as I did before.

Bottom line is, this is what I wanted and I got it. My bike, my party.......lol

I remember coming from my Deluxe thinking how great its gonna be to have storage, but the only thing in my right saddlebag is a spare set of glasses, my registration with insurance and 2 microfiber towels.

I guess I am speaking for all involved too. No worries about posting your question. That is what makes this a great site, a conglomeration of ideas from all walks of life. Also thanks to the OP for retitleing it, I also try to title stuff for future searches. You are doing a great job with this one and all the pics and explanations!!! I have read every word of it from the start of the wicked thread!! GP is a great guy for help and soon you will be asked questions from others too, because now you have been way deeper than most when it comes to audio upgrades and good on ya for that!! Have a great weekend all.

I think it's pretty damned awesome....congrats!

BTW...if you remember the name of the quick connects...please post or let me know. I need to rewire my tour pack with some quick connects....previous ownder just did blade connectors and when you are unhooked 16 of them it takes too long....

Thanks and congrats once again!

I think I heard you say you're using Arc Audio adapter rings for your fairing speakers? I am pondering some MM6501 components and I have DragonFly concepts adapters. DragonFly says the bolt pattern matches up but I'm concerned about depth of the speakers/adapters. Thinking the Arc/Dragon Fly's might be the same as they sure look similar and Dragon Fly uses Arc amps in their packages. Apparently all worked well for you, even with the Dynamat. Very nice ...

Tbe connectors are made by Deutsch and can be bought at any onli e electrical supply house. They are pricy though, I think I spent $40 for two sets. You have to buy the male and female plug, and alm the pins and parts that go with it.
I will send you a link when I get home that GP sent me. That site is awesome. You sellect the connector and it automatically puts all the needed parts in your cart, then just check out.
I glt mine in 4 days from ordering.

I cant answer that. I am not familiar with that fairing but I am a betting man and it sounds like the same adapter. What size speaker is in that fairing now?
