Default RC or Fatcat

Ok I'm down to my last straw on which exhaust. I'm torn between Vance Hines power duals with the RC calibur slip ons or the D&D fat cat. I want a deep throaty mellow sound. Which one?

My fat cat ain't mellow. It's a loud, aggressive, mean sounding pipe. The performance is the same. Kinda sounds like a big block Chevy.I have the performance baffle. Deep throaty mellow sounds like my old CFR'S. But I'm not to sure on the mellow part. They very fairly loud. I had the on the stock "cat" head pipe.
which baffles on th RC pipes you looking at?

Looking at the 2.5" baffles on the RC slip ons. Fat cat must be a mean pipe. Everybody on this forum says they are LOUD. hmmm..

Not the D&D FatCat!

Worst sounding pipe ever! It's got a hollow, tinny fart can sound. Think of Honda Civics with coffee can exhaust and you get the idea. Obnoxiously loud and a decel cackle that attracts the popo like flies to a dung heap (fitting since thats what it is).

I know a lot of guys that have em like em. A lot don't. I hated mine!

CFR's are loud as hell. I had them on my Streetglide for less than 30 miles and had enough. I was on the interstate for 10 miles with a full face helmet and when I got off I couldn't hear for a while. They do sound nice...... On a bike other than mine. I put a set of RCX's and love them. I like the idea to be able to change the tips when I get bored of the same look.
