Go down and ask for the GM or owner. Tell him the story with your documention, see where that goes. I would think you will be well on your way to getting your bike back. Good luck!

Customer Care was the answer I called them on Friday 9/7 they where suprised I did not have bike back. They informed me dealer had all parts to put bike back together on 8/17. They called dealer, I am supposed to get bike back this week. This dealer is close to my home and I have spent thousands of dollars there, I guess customer service is a thing of the past. Thanks for all info Jim

ended up not getting bike back until 9/19 what I originally thought was a dealer problem was not, factory had sent sleeves and pistons to dealer their machinist broke one of my jugs installing sleeve. Dealer ordered new jug and sleeve was installed delaying my bike yet another week. On a side note my bike had the dreaded top end noise from new, I am happy to report that this repair completely eliminated that noise something to check if your bike is the same. My dealer did an excellent job repairing this, but it was frustrating to me how long it took. I have put 500 miles on since Wed. nice to be back in the saddle. No oil consumption staying right at full mark and running better than ever which makes since especially if pistons where wrong size from the start. Thanks to all that replied ride safe Jim

Great to hear

Just wish your dealer had been communicating with you at every step

Glad to hear it's back but it still doesn't excuse how long it took. They should have offered you some sort of loaner.

a friend of mine went through the samething on a new 2011 roadeglide it took 7 days from start to finish. and they dont give loners either they put new pistons valves and guides along with rings the whole 9 yards and he asked will his factory warranty start over and they laughed at him. they wanted him to pay for the stater he said u r all crazy iam not paying for nothing. he also called the MOCO they didnt do anything for him but fix his motor. harley has the worst customer service i have ever seen. i retired from a GM dealer and as stated earlier a car dealer wouldnt let that happen anyway good luck to ya just my 2 cents.

I have read an article of a jug having a imperfection (air bubble in the metal) caused a top end noise. So could be a blessing they damaged the jug.
