Default Best shocks under $600 RK

Been doing a lot of reading and searching here and it seems for my 06 FLHRCI the best shocks in my price range are the Progressive 440's. I'm 240 and the missus is 130 and we ride 2 up a lot.

Before dropping the money I figured I'd post here to see if I missed any other shocks in that price range. Could go more, but really don't want to.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

p.s. also the best place to buy for price would be nice.

Thanks for the reply, but it looks like those are only available for 09 and newer. Appreciate the help though

Thanks. Been to a few websites still offering the 440's. Guess they're the dust collectors on the shelves. Still a lifetime warranty on the 444's??

I think you can get the Ohlins 2-2 a,s or b,s for just under 600.00 from Howard at Motorcycle Metal, if you are a forum member.

Thanks, thought Ohlins were out of my price range. Any idea how this works? I'll drop them an e-mail now, as they're thread section has nothing posted for months

Call Howard on the phone number listed on his website. He answers the phone immediately. He is not much for email, might be days before he responds to it. Howard is old school. Be prepared to describe to him what you want out of a shock..
