I ordered new wheels for the Street Glide. 21 X 3.5 in the front, 18 X 4.5 in the rear, with some 880's and matching rotors. When I ordered the wheels Phil at Hogpro warned me that I have to make sure that there is 1/4" clearance from the tire to the fender all the way around. Has anybody put the 21" on the front of a bagger, did you have any issues with this? Here's a pic of the rims I just ordered.

I think that navajo bagger or whatever some of these bagger places are make a bracket to move your fender a hair to creat clearence. I am not 100% sure. I think it moves the fender down and tilts it back to lower the fender and create the clearence. Ill see if I can find what company it was..... native custom baggers maybe? I dont know

04Harleyboy---You will need to enlarge the mounting holes on the front fender just a tad. Then when you install the fender back on lift up on it as you tighten the bolts.
As for the rear--When I installed mine the larger rim size moved everything to the right. Now I can't fit a piece of paper between the fender and tire on the right side now but there is no wear problems.
The look is awesome and I love the way it handles.
Only complaint is I had a lowering kit in the rear and with the 18 I had to remove it. Now I am no longer flat footed but I'll fix that later.

Very nice choice harleyboy. Looking forward to pics once they are installed. I'm sure they will ask to add the finished look to their gallery page as well.
I got my wheels (18" F&R) there and I was extremely happy with the whole process. Great guys and great service.

BB06FLHX,
Thats good to know about the rear, i'll keep my eye on that. I was barely flat footed on the bike before this, so I hope with lowering the front 1" I be ok. If not, I guess I will have to look into a different seat
Primo,
Thanks for the compliment, Its good to hear that they are a good company. I have heard a lot of good things from people here. I am very excited at getting this upgrade. I can't wait to take it for a ride when I get them on the bike I liked the way the bike handled for a bagger, and its supposed to be even better...Wow
