Congrats on the new EG, it should be a pleasant experience over/above the 1500. Unfortunately my buddy's 1500 broke down again yesterday. Ongoing problems with the charging system have made it a nightmare for him. He wants an HD, just not in the financial picture at the moment. Welcome + Enjoy!

Congrats on the new scoot, run Down to Springerville (lived there many years ago) and ride down around Cambell Flat, Greer etc. - d@mn I miss the White Mountains!! Is the TeePee motel still in operation there in Holbrook?

I remember when I went from Jap to American made bike, a 1200-C loved the feeling.
I did test ride the 11 Polaris 3 times but they just didn't have a cool feel like a Harley. Got a Road King and I love it...ride on and be safe.

I too came from the metric. I rode V-star 1100 for 2 years and 24,000 trouble free miles. Great bike. Got an Electra Glide 09 and have rode over 43,000 miles. It's been great and I never regreted getting my HD. Ride safe and enjoy the new bike, welcome to the forum and the HD family.
