Don't have mine in front of me, but as I recall, I had to "import" the route. It was done in two steps on the Garmin. I think step one was go to "Data" and import, the to "Import" option and find it there. Sorry if this is a little "off", but like I say, don't have the unit available just now and my memory is getting pretty bad. Just hope I could help.

tools ~ my data ~ import route(s)
select the route you want, then import.
you will then find it in your routes when you go "where to?'

I got the 2455 with lifetime maps from Costco for $160. Seems to have almost all the features of the new Zumo 350 except for water resistance and the gas reminder dealie. I'm very happy with mine ...

I have the 2455 also; $179 at Best Buy instead of $600+ for the Zumo. For weatherproofing I just use a $500 baggie.

Anyone know the difference between the 2455LMT and the 2455LT? I've searched the Garmin site to no avail. Amazon has good prices on both, with the LMT model $20 more...

2455LT = Lifetime Traffic updates
2455LMT = Lifetime Traffic and Lifetime Map updates.

Everything else is the same.

Lifetime means lifetime of that device. Can't be transferred to another person or device.
Lifetime maps is good to have, as you'll want to update at least once or twice a year as roads are constantly changing.
Without the lifetime maps feature, you'll have to pay for each map update.

Ok I like the 2455 so far. I upgraded from a 40 because it would not hold custom routes. Not sure if I can get it to do what i want it to do yet.
