the stock HD trim ring is re-used after you install the TL7

but the TL7 is deeper then the stock headlight so it sticks out a bit further

most of us do not like the look, so you have two options

French Trim Ring - 69627-99

French Trim Ring with Visor - HD part 69733-05

those install OVER your stock trim ring, and make the TL7 look more normal or flush like the stock headlight looks with the stock trim ring

good luck with your decision

TL-6 with trim ring. Amazingly bright and white, especially in the day time. Even more so at night. Reflective signs are super bright, even in daylight. In my opinion the phase 6 lights are much more visible in daylight than the phase 7.

Been doing alot of reading on the LED headlights, think I'm going to go with a Truck Lite Phase 7. Does anyone have a picture of the Visor Trim Ring on a SG?

I used the HD and Sylvania bulbs. All worked okay, but needed more light. I eventually settled on the HD dual halogen bulb kit for $175. It works great and I am very pleased with it and to me its worth the price. Both low and high beams project good light.
