The new rim is a 23 but I yet to ride it but from what I here it will still have a good ride but wee will see

I'd love to see some more pics. I'd like to do the 23" on mine as well, but I don't want to have to stretch\weld the frame. how much modification is needed to do just the trees? do you have to do anything with the fairing for clearance at the tank?

No it just bolts on. I put some stops in the front forks and 30wt shock oil to make sure the fender does not hit anything. The pictures I posted are what the bike looks like now I have not finished yet but I will post more as I go.

30 weight shock oil? That's going to be a harsh ride.

Default Where do I splice in my new turnsignal switch?

I'm pretty sure the left hand signal switch is pouched, so I ordered a new one. I was hoping it would be a setup where I splice it in the housing on the bar, but the new one has like two feet of wire.
Where is the proper place to splice this thing?
