Just go for a ride in the rain, for an hour or so. Gets the bugs out of all those nooks & crannies that NOTHING will reach, to clean them.

I also use Original Spray Cleaner from a metric dealer. Works great, and a whole lot less work than that Harley crap.

I use steam, one of the hand held types. Just steam and wipe. Afterwards I go over the bike with a dry microfiber and some Meguires detail spray finish. Works great for me.

Funny thing is, I have always used Windex on my bikes, and never once had the windscreen try to get cloudy. Don't know why, but never an issue. After I clean the windscreen I polish it with lemon pledge and buff it to a high shine....

Been using the water/ peroxide mix for the last couple of years since learning about it here. Spray it on a few minutes before washing and it takes very little elbow grease to remove them.

+1, started using this method myself and it works. I don't think I waited more than a couple of minutes before wiping them clean off.

Griot's Garage makes a product call Bug Barricade. Wipe it over clean waxed paint. Bugs wash off with water. Reapply the stuff after washing or rain. Can't see it but it does work. I use it on the car before long trips too. I'd like to hear from some of you in south Florida during bug season.

Bugslide is fantastic at bug removal and cleaning and shining ur ride. Love that stuff. I carry a tiny spray bottle of it and a microfiber towel everywhere I go for quick touchups

Same here, it's cheap and effective...but you can spend more to get the same result if it pleases you!
