Default Opinions on FLHX Solo Seats

I'm looking at getting a solo seat for my 08 SG - Lots of choices...

I have 2 in mind so far - The Le Pera Aviator, and Danny Grey's Speedcradle. Any thoughts on comfort for a full day of riding? I think either will look good, but I don't want to feel beat up at the end of the day...

I went with the Mustang Solo with a built in rider backrest. It is amazing, can average 800 miles a day with it.

If you haven't looked at C&C Solo seats you should, they are top quality and their service is second to none. I also considered Danny Gray but the poor response I received when I was doing my research eliminated them.

how tall are you? more importantly, inseam length? the danny gray speed cradle works well for shorter folks. i'm 5'4'', with a 29 inseam and i found the speed cradle put me in a good spot in relation to the controls.

there are 2 issues i had with the speed cradle. because of the shape of it (hence 'cradle'), it had a tendency to make my twig and berries fall asleep now that is one weird feeling. the second thing is that it was not very comfortable for rides over a couple hours long.

me personally, i would scratch both of your choices and keep looking. i'm using the cvo roadglide seat from the 2012 road glide, but i don't think that will fit your 08.

I have rode over 1000 miles in a day on my Corbin Classic Solo, and my eyes were the limiting factor. I will never own another bike without a Corbin.
