Post who has custom spoked wheels on their bagger; Ridewright

I'm thinking about installing spoked rims on my 09 SG. Been looking at Ridewright and talked to Jay from RW for awhile today. Liked him. Beautiful US-made products. Thinking of 60-spoke with powder coat burnt orange rims. Bike is black now.

They seal the rims with a silicone mixture so you can run tubeless. One concern I have is weight. I want lightweight rims.

Anyone have experiance w/ RW? How about other spokes. Pics?

Mine has been great, probably my favorite upgrade. I have the chrome and stainless steel setup on my FLHRC but with a street glide I'd probably try a color spoke and rim combination. It's a quality piece.

I have some Sinister spokes. Pain in the *** to take care of, but the look is worth it for me.

I've got DNA Mammoth spokes. They are not light by any means but the bike feels like it rides better with the heavier wheels and didn't seem to lose much acceleration. They are definitely hard to clean but they are worth it for the look.

Re weights, Jad from ridewrightwheels (http://www.ridewrightwheels.com/) has told me the folowing weights on their wheels:

60 SPOKE: 16 x 5.5 = 24lbs; 18 x 3.5 = 25lbs
Evolution (a forged mag) 18 x 3.5 = 24lbs; 16 x 5.5 = 26lbs
Windmill (another mag) 18 x 3.5 = 25lbs; 16 x 5.5 27lbs.

So, a 60 spoke wheel w/ stainless spokes and Al rim and hub weighs about the same as a forged mag.

Anyone know weights of HD Airstrikes in 6" and 18" (sams rotors)?

Is that a road king with a fairing? I have the same wheels on my rk custom. When I was young I always said when I got a harley it would have spoke wheels and ww tires. They are little bit of a pain to keep clean but its true they are so worth it when it comes
to looks.

Gonna revive this thread to see if anyone else posts up shots of their spoked baggers. I'm loving the look and think it'll be my next purchase.

I run Akront aluminum spokes front and rear. Not very good picks but they are great wheels.
