I installed the NIM Unit for my Road Tech 665 on my 2012 Limited this weekend. All went well except when completed the radio, mp3 and XM would mute, but no turn by turn voice prompts would come across speakers. After triple checking wiring, I jumped on Internet and searched issue. I found LOTS of people having same issue...but could not find ANY answers. After spending signifcant time searching thru countless forums, I finally found the answer. So...I'm posting this for the next person that has same issue and and hopefully save them the research.

So the answer is....the speaker switch on fairing needs to be in the down (lite) position for voice prompts to work. Simple ! :-)

One other thing I found on this forum, that I couldn't figure out on my own was;

The volume for the voice prompts can only be adjusted when the voice prompts are talking!

That drove me nuts for a couple days....
