Default Has anyone installed 13.5 rear shocks on thier touring bike

I am looking at the Progresive 444's and thinking about going to the 13.5 inch shocks. I would like to hear form anyone that has done this, was it worth it?

I have Ohlins 13 1/4" on my SG...A lot better ride, better lean angle and when sitting on the bike, almost the same height as the 12" stock shocks. Off the bike, the bike sits like an ultra in the rear but the benefits far outweigh the slight increase in height.

You could always do the shocks and then add the LA Chopper lowering kit to bring the bike down on inch. Don't tell Howard but that's what I'm doing with mine since I'm also going with a 18" rear wheel/tire combo which will raise the rear another 1/2" +/-.

The 13.5 which is what I had will not fit on a 2009 or newer, I had to switch to the 12.5.

The Ohlins 13 1/4" fit fine and are a better shock then the Progressives.
