Default Tour Seat Recommendation

Y'all that have switched out seats, how do you like them. I'm a big guy, 6'3 270lb with a big butt to be blunt. Wife is not fat but not a runway model either. I need a good seat for two up riding on long trips for my Road King. High quality materials & comfort what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I like big butts and I cannot lie! Good tune. Anyway, I run the Sundowner and am happy with it.

Sundowner here too, but I'm only 5'10".
You may need the "Tallboy" seat @ 6'3".

Suggest that you go to your local dealer and try the demo seats.
That way you'll have a better idea..

I am 6'5" and 330 lbs. My wife is fairly slim at 130 lbs. I have the HD Tallboy seat on my Road King and it works pretty well. Don't think I will ever find a setup that will allow us to go a full tank in one run. The downside of the tallboy seat is that it steals a bit of real estate from the passenger so it puts us pretty snug together when I am all the way back in my seat. Ok most of the time but it can be less comforatble for her on a hot day.

I went with a Mustang seat and love it, I plan to send my OEM seat with the specs I want to MCC, seams they have a lot of good reviews and know how to make the seat right for you.

I bet a Mustang is for you. I have a Sundowner and a big butt, and I'm not all that impressed with it. I had a Mustang on my old bike and loved it. I was trying to save some cash when I bought the Sundowner.

I noticed you are in NC. schedule a ride in appointment with MCC http://www.meancitycycles.com/ I have had several aftermarket seats and none of them come close to my stock seat after MCC fixed it.

Saddleman Road Sofa is the most comfortable I have ever ridden. But my '12 Limited is too tall for me to use it. The 2010 was fine but not the '12. I can't say why since both use the same suspension(according to Harley). Send me a PM if you are interested.
