Default 2006 RKC Cruise Control Releasing On Its Own

When I use my cruise control riding the highway after about 10-15mins (sometimes sooner) the cruise control releases like I applied pressure on the brakes. At first I thought maybe I tapped the hand brake, but another time I was stretching my right hand and it released.

I was playing with the bike last weekend and noticed there's a computer pack specifically for the cruise control. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this pack going bad? The bike is under warranty, so I'm going to see if I can have it looked at this week.

Thanks in advance for the comments,
JR

some times it is a brake lever or pedal bouncing and applying the brake light- cruise off.

It can also be a failure of either of the brake light switches........ESPECIALLY if the front controls were removed with out using the "no switch break shim" as detailed in the manual.
