Default Is Fuelpak necessary?

I recently bought Vance and Hines Monster round slip-on mufflers for my 2006 CVO ultra 103 motor. Is it necessary to add the Fuelpak to the ECU to adjust air/fuel mixture? Would appreciate some advice.

If the air cleaner is still stock...no. If you decide to go with a fuel manager in the future do yourself a favor and dont buy the fuelpak.....

thanks for the quick reply. Prefer not to spend more money if it's not necessary.

Once you change the AC more air will be getting into the fuel mix and you will be running way too lean. The Power Commander is more versatile and not much more than the Fuelpak. Have fun with the new pipes.....

I just put Monster Rounds on my stock 08 SG (96) 2 days ago. Bike runs great - no problems. I really like 'em - they have a nice deep growl/rumble. They'll probably sound even better on your bike.
