Default Chain Tensioner

Hello all, a friend gave me a new Southern Oregon Hot Bikes hydraulic chain tensioner. I have been hearing allot about the stock chain units making the chain to tight. Does anyone have any information or experience with this product.

Thanks in advance,
forgot to mention I have a 2012 Road Glide Ultra.

It's not a condition that's chronic all the time.....What year bike are you considering putting it on?

IMHO, the SOHB tensioner sucks. I put one in my bike and had to open the damn primary 4 times messing with it until I finally took it off. I'm going with a Hayden M6 for the TC96 now.

Mine should be here next week. DHP's had the best price. I also took your advice and ordered the Zippers cam chain tensioner at the same time.

I couldn't find the BT-07 on DHP, just the other ones. Phat has them for 105 free shipping.
