radio shack siren problem WTF!

RE: radio shack siren problem WTF!
i read in another forum where someone soldered 1/2 inch pieces of paper clips to the ends of the siren wires. this is what i did and it worked really well. the ends fit nice and tight into the factory plug. i drilled a hole just big enough in the end cap to stick the wires through, then sealed around the wires with some silicone.

hooked mine up today, easy install. It doesn't chirp when I turn it on or off, not sure if it is supposed to. When I bump the bike it chirps once and only alarms if I keep moving the bike. It does alarm if I try to turn the bike on. Thanks Rollntiger. Great tip. I never have used the alarm before this, because I thought it was useless with out sound.

If I may be so bold, where did you get your delphi connector? I like the thought of 'plug and play'.
Thanks,

For future reference, never cut all the wires at once, clip them one wire at a time, as they will short accros your cutter when cutting. And once cut always keep wires seperated.
On the other side of bike, in the fuse block same row as the Light relay, there are two fuses, its the one furtherst away from the relay. (It is labeled "ignition" onthe fuse box lid with position)
