I punched my VIN into the harley site and had no open recalls, but since my voltage dial was fluctuating and i had a check engine light and battery light go on while the bike was running, I decided to call the dealer. They took my VIN and said that my 2012 RG was INDEED part of the recall.... so the moral is: the HD site is not updated, call the dealer.

 

They replaced mine before leaving the dealership when we bought it.

 

I was sent a notice by the MoCo. Called my dealer the next day, and they got me in a couple of days later. One half hour and I was on my way.

 

It was never a recall. It was considered a "product program". Further down on the page than the recall notices.
