Default Non-OEM Tour Pak

I am looking at this Tour Pak, which is VERY inexpensive:

Has anybody had any experience with this - good or bad? The reviews on eBay seem OK, but I can't get a feel for the quaity of the item. My plan is to mount it permanently.

Thanks

Oh boy, let me think about this. A $95 tour pak. Hmmm. Don't think so.

Had one on my sporty... kept it when I moved to a Road King earlier this year... was blue, now its black... I picked up a detachable mounting rack for it..
It held up just fine on the sporty for 4 years... now I put it on the king for long road trips...

Now, I have the wrap around backrest pad, and the top rack for it.... I picked mine up from mutazu.com but they are same trunk.. I did have to change the lock once as the original loosened up a bit and started rattling... and I also have had to put new rubber sealing gasket a couple of times.. but that has not been a big deal..

pictures: from the side and the front.. taken on a trip I did a couple weeks ago.

I know you always here the you get what you pay for.. but this trunk LIVED daily on my sporty for 4 years, and now I am re-purposing to my king until I eventually decide to get an oem trunk.. by the the way, that place mutazu seems to also now have an oem knockoff trunk that looks just like an oem one...

Might be worth the money to "test drive" one.

Hyfly, if you do a search on here for "mutazu", you'll find that there's a TON of people using that tour pack, and have been happy with it, especially for the price.

I got the mutazu one for road trips. It is pretty flimsily for everyday use imho and smaller than the HD one, but for $100 plus $50 for used mount it provides lockable extra storage on the road. Way better than a T-bag or whatever.

What others have said. I picked it up cheap and I didn't expect much, but it has been useful for the past couple of years.

I bought one for my Sturgis trip last year - color matched black cherry for my '06 SG.
It's somewhat flimsy, lock is useless, but looks good, nylon liner works, didn't leak
and the wrap around back was comfy for my lady. Bought a second detach backrest
with luggage rack and made it into a mount - used supplied hardware - works great.
Use paypal - didn't get everything but paypal complaint got it done. $300 total.
