Default Painted aftermarket tour pack??

Other than the Mutazu pack does anyone know of anyone else that sells a painted aftermarket pack? I really would only need it a couple times a year so I cant decide if buying an OEM pack is worth it to me. I know the whole "you get what you pay for" and I am not interesting in hearing that. I have found quite a few knock offs for reasonable money but after paint it would be close to what an OEM pack would cost.

If you know that, then you've pretty much answered your own question I think?

That being said, if you want to save $$$, then you should look frequently in the classifieds and put an add in the WTB section.

Recently, there was a black pearl chopped tour pak for sale in the classifieds. It still may be there too...

Personally, my chopped tour pak (that I bought used on this forum) was one of the if not one of the best mods I have ever done to my glide and it is so utilitarian that I have no intention of taking it off. It's just too handy...

I dont think I answered my question. I was asking if anyone other than Mutazu makes a painted aftermarket pack. I looked in the FS section and did not see a black pearl pack so I am going to assume it has been sold. I am sure I will wind up buying an OEM king pack but wanted to see what other options there may be.

there was a post a few days ago about a guy in CO that makes a knockoff HD king tour pak

reviews were excellent

let me see if I can dig it up - it was on Ebay and the guy makes them new.

Try an aftermarket called "GIVI". Google will bring up lots of links for it.

Looks pretty good, but for close to $450 including shipping, I'd spend the extra and get the Harley. Mutazu makes an upgrade Tour Pack as well. More features than the E-Bay model.

Buy a black one and it's already ... BLACK ! It may not be show quality but who's going to know at 60 mph .... Besides, you've stated that you're only going to be using it a couple of times a year ( Although I know several riders who having once used the Tour Pak have decided to keep it on the scooter because it's so convenient )

Ebay has all manner of Harley parts. Mostly take offs. I would look there.
