Default How many SG owners have lost Tri-bar light

Just wondering how many of us have lost
or become defective,
I mean the tri-bar light at rear fender.
Mine just stopped working and replaced it with
the upgrade of run/brake light.

Is that the one that flashes a couple times every time you press/pull some brake? I've got one I bought from Badlander but it doesn't flash, just makes all three lights come on instead of the center brake light.

Mine still works. I did read someplace that certain models were built with the wires positioned in a way under the rear fender that if it bottomed out it would rip the wires out or rub the wires out.....

Is the replacement run/stop light much better? I have 8k on mine and it is still fine, but the light is so dim that it is terrible..

Run/stop is a nice upgrade. Not blinding bright, but better than just the dim runner.
