Does the Streetglide have a second set of channels to power the lowers for now or am I stuck having to get an amp?

According to the parts catalog all Harley's have the same HK radio. So wherever the rears for an Ultra would plug in you could plug your new lower fairing speakers. I don't advise it though. Run your system right the first time so you don't risk hurting anything. Then you'll only need in the fairing once too. Wait till you can do the amp.

I'm putting speakers in my lowers soon btw. Not done with research but leaning towards Rockford Fosgate (RF) amp and 6.5's. Other amp getting a lot of my attention is Arc. With which I'd do Focals or Polk. Not really liking the RF doesn't go to 2 ohms.

Stumbled across my set while trolling local CraigsList...previous rider mounted on bike & didn't like the look so his loss = my gain. New "color match" set w/quick mount hw @ $500 & the only time I remove them is during deep cleaning. As the great Tony the Tiger once said..."They're Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!"

Smile Lowers = Big Sound 4 me

I put lowers on my SG, love them with Roc.Fosgate.PBR300X4 amp driving 4 Hertz 6.5 with twitters . I just recently added speaker baffles and further improved the sound. It's really incredible at 80mph. You can also access the rear outputs with a custom harness provided by the member mentioned below then have the moco program your radio for fader control. A member of this forum sells a bracket to mount the amp if you're not happy using velcro. The bracket when installed with amp looks factory and the harness he sold me with bracket made the install plug and play.I have a few pics but don't know how to attach.
