Default Memorial Ride

Gonna take a bittersweet ride in the morning. Ride out through the country of South Central Texas to scatter the Father-In-Law's ashes. It's time. The wife has held on long enough. Will be a nice ride, but I'm sure will be really quiet and emotional on the way back. He will be proud of his last ride though!

Did that for my oldest son back in 96. It will be a relief when it's over. We both felt so much better after we did that. Now when i go down that road, I always say "hi son, miss and love ya".

Well, we did it... It was a really nice morning, and a nice ride as well, but emotions ran deep, but in the end, she knows she did the right thing and it was time. She thanked me profusely when we got back home, but the pleasure of course was mine. It was a hard thing, but thankful to have shared it with her. The ride definitely helped on the way home and cleared her head.

Nice.

I think a few of us have similar stories. It keeps the memories going.

Awesome. There's nothing that can take away from giving a loved one a ride to their final resting place. I'm sure he appreciated it and smiled down on you two. Wishing you and your wife all the best.
