Thanks. I am 5'11 with a 30" inseam and by lowering my front it helped to stay flat footed. I only lowered mine by and inch. Mainly because I have heard of people going 2" and bottoming out hitting the fender. I am at 240 and never bottom out. Even with my 110lb wife on we never hit the fender. If you lower an inch you wont bottom, but since you are pretty tall you made be ok with lowering. I used the progressive springs and cut the pvc piece to 3/4". I have no experience with the mono's but people who have them swear by them

We like the Progressive lowering spring kit here. Also if you are worrying about bottoming out you could use a heavy duty fork oil or the Screaming Eagle fork oil.
