Battery Upgrade
So I've been searching and reading all these stereo threads and I've yet to see anyone talk about the battery. I've always upgraded my car batteries when installing stereo systems. Is no one doing this on bikes? I'm seeing multiple amp systems but nothing about the charging system. I'm debating on upgrading to a Shorai Lithium battery or possibly a deep cycle type. Any thoughts, experience or suggestions? Or am I just ?

Cop Glides come with high amp alternators. I don't think the battery is any different though. Unlike a car, there is no room for a bigger battery on a scooter.
Not that I'm into tunes on a bike though. My radio quit on my bike. I doubt if I'll ever get around to fixing it.

Best to get more of a deep cycle type battery as already mentioned. They can handle the abuse better then regulat batteries. A charging system that can handle the draw is also a must, or batteries will keep failing.
I have yet to put a stereo system on a bike, but when I was putting them in my cars, I use to install a capacitor for the amps. Helped mellow out the voltage spikes when the music was cranking.

I'm installing a Sony DSX-S210BTX and an Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack bridged into either a set of Alpine 6 1/2's or Polks, haven't decided yet.
