Default Bright Brake Light

Looking for a brighter or strobe light style brake light than stock. I just had an incident that maybe a better brake light would have prevented. I have a classic so don't have the trunk lights.

Hope your incident wasn't anything serious. I've personally been considering a setup from custom dynamics for the rear lights to ensure I get the attention of cages behind me, but there are many different products out there. Suggest trying a forum search for "strobing brake light" or "modulating tail light" or something to that effect.

Here's a couple that I found tho:

BrightAssLight. So bright, so powerful, so attention-attracting that police have asked me about mine.

So I brought it down to "2" --

Plug 'n play, 5-minute install, effective as it gets. Not exactly "cheap" but easily the best and most effective $200 I've thrown in.

+1 on BALs, you'd have to be blind not to notice them, set the pattern and intensity that suits you.

+1. Pricey, but certainly more piece of mind.

What everyone else already said, it was worth the money IMHO. LED signals with run/brake featuer are nice too.

Shown with the brakes on.

I bought a Custom Dynamics LED Tailight from Amazon for $122 and worth it to me. It is super bright. I also got the rear CD LED turn signals that work as Run/Brake/Signal (Best deal was from Eastern Performance $70). If somebody doesn't notice when I hit my brakes then I guess my time has ran out...

Thanks for the info. My incident resulted in two totaled bikes but nobody hurt seriously.
