No power to Ultra radio

No power to Ultra radio
My radio died this week .. The bar and shield on the face light up but nothing on the face, no clock, no sound, no nothing. I removed the fairing and the two fuses for the radio (1 amp and 15 amp) are good but have no power coming to the fuse. I've wrestled witht he wiring diagram but am unable to find where the fuses get their power. This is a 95Ultra. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any thoughts onwhat else to check would be apprecitated.

RE: No power to Ultra radio
If it is not able to be traced to a bad ground, fuse or hot lead that is the problem and looks to be a problem with the radio itself, you will be dollars ahead to get a "Retro Radio Kit" from Biketronics.
It comes complete with a Sony or Pioneer deck, Hog tune Speakers, and all required wiring. It is as close to plug and play as you can get and you will be able to use your stock handlebar controls. Nice thing about it is you can get a radio that is am/fm/cd/mp3 with XM radio as an option. Far better than the am/fm/tape OEM radio that is there.
I only mention this, because finding a replacement oem radio on ebay is expensive and it is still a used radio, the few places left that will repair your original one will cost major dollars and the finally a HD dealer will not be able to order you a replacement.
On my 89' I run a Pioneer am/fm/cd/mp3 deck with (4) J&M 60 watt speakers custom mounted into the fairing. It cost a lot less to do that then it did to get an OEM radio replaced or repaired...
