Default Who Have Dragged their V&H Power Duals

How many have dragged their Vance and Hines Power duals on pavement. How many think they cause more vibration? These are two complaints I've heard. I'm thinking of buying a set. How many really like them.

Thanks

Scraped the floorboards but have never scraped my pipes. No problems whatsoever. I love mine.

Haven't scratched mine, I love mine also. I went from a stock 2-1-2, to the power duals. I feel like I got more power and the mufflers sound deeper and louder, I have rush exhaust. Plus I have a power commander and had to change the map.

Haven't scraped them yet. I have the Monster Ovals and really like the sound.

No scraping here and no more vibration than before.

I have a couple times, you can't see it it unless your laying on the ground. No vibration that I can tell.

I love mine as well! Haven't scraped them yet but have only had them on for a few weeks. No more vibration than normal. I also have Monster Ovals and love the combo of the two!

They are not proned to scrape any more than others. I have the power dual and my floor boards scrape long before it hits the exhaust.

Why would a head pipe cause more vibration? sounds like a tuning issue, not an exhaust issue.

I have scraped them hard on a right turn at the bottom of my street- hard enough to loose traction on the rear tire...this is a turn I've taken hundreds of times on various bikes.

This was on a 2011 FLHTK lowered 1" front and rear- I doubt this would occur at stock height.

if floor boards scrape, they pivot up out of the way- hard parts scraping can be a real hazard. the area that hits is the cover on the X pipe.

the crossover clamp on the PD's needs to be installed so that it does not hang down where it can hit a speedbump or curb and tear the exhaust off the bike- either oriented so the excess threaded rod is not hanging down, or by cutting/grinding the excess.

added vibration is probably a result of poor installation or worn muffler hanger bushings
