Default HD Signature Series Seat & Backrest: Opinions

A search on this site did not turn up much for me at all.

I was wondering who has first hand experience riding with the HD Signature seat.

I am interested in hearing about the solo seat, backrest(s) and passenger pillion quality. Thanks.

I love mine... The seat is a tad bit lower than stock and the backrest helps keep in the upright position rather than the slumped over. Can easily be adjusted while riding with a simple turn of the *** just below the seat. The only ***-pain I have is putting the passenger pylon on/taking off; requires me to put the 6" extender on the my ratchet in order to remove/replace the seat. Quality seat IMO!!

Thanks for the reply. I hear about Corbin, Mustang, LePera, C & C, HD Road Zeppelins, Sundowners, etc., but I NEVER hear anyone mention this seat combo. Of course, an adjustable backrest is really nice, but the solo seat ALONE looks like it is designed to support the lower back. I have only seen the photos though.

Anyone else have any experience with the Reference seat?

Default Not sure why you need the 6" ratchet?

I have the Sig Series solo and adding or removing the passenger pillion only need the screw driver for the back fender screw. Don't you have the 2 nuts designed for the pillion? They're slotted so the pillion just slides into the 2 nuts that secure the solo seat onto the fender.

Is that seat as comfortable as it looks? From here, it looks like you could ride that bike all day with that seat with virtually no fatigue.

Quite nice yes, although I do have an Airhawk pad to go on top if I want to. I recently got the back seat too along with both solo tourpak and two up tourpak mounting. I used the rubber matting used in tool chest draws to line the underside of the rear seat so there won't be any rub marks
