Default Tourpak extender

Has anyone installed the Kuryakyn tourpak relocator kit on their Ultra? I saw one of the kits at a local shop and it has a note on it about not installing on a tourbox w/ rear speakers.

Is there enough wiring slack with the speakers, lights and coax cables to do a straight forward install? My wife is complaining about not having enough room behind me!

got it, installed it, wife loves it. No problem installing the relocator on the ULTRA. Took about an hour. All wiring reached fine. I have rear speakers and it went on perfectly. Gives passenger about 2" more room.

Me three, that's why I'm trading in my Dyna for a Road Glide. Just to keep Mama happy.

Have one on mine. While I had the steel plate out of the bottom of the trunk I drilled a 3/16ths hole in the left side of the trunk bottom at the forward corner as my 2005 Ultra leaks water into the trunk when it is washed. It was carring about 2 ounces on the bottom when I took it apart. It will drain out when it is on the side stand now.

How does the bike handle after the Tour-Pack is relocated?

I installed the tour pak extender on my ultra. It not only gives my wife more room while cruising, but it gets the speaker housings off of the rear seat edge. The install is very easy and there is more than enough wire for the job. We have go about 4000 miles since the install and I cannot detect any difference in the bikes ride.
I also installed the low profile comfort saddlebag guards, this prevents my wife legs from rubbing against original guards because of the change in her riding position.
The kit is well worth the money.

Thanks guys! I took my seat off today and looked at the wiring. The speaker wire has plenty of slack inside the pods, but the wiring and cable on the primary side are in one sheath and strapped down tight. It looks like I might be able to get some slack from the inside of the tourpack by removing one clamp. The other single cable has slack that I can pull out. Did you guys just get the slack from the inside or did you have to get some from the harness on the frame?
