I had an 07 that I thought I was going to keep for a long time, then I test rode the new frame, the trade off was worth it for me. Take a test ride and see what you think, then make your decision.

 

If you don't like wrenching on the scoot bring it by my place, I'll install a six speed and colour match the inner fairing for $7000.00 no problem

I had/have a '00 with alot of stuff including 6speed and got a '09. I would be very hard pressed to go back to the old frame. Anyone want my RK??
