Pretty sure you'll mess the cb up if you try to use it with those. I remember folks saying you'd trash the cb if you change the length of the original antenna when everyone was cutting them shorter.
I don't use the cb after trying it once on a ride, complete waste of equipment and now I have an aftermarket head unit so no cb at all anymore.

Not to hyjack but i went with hd's fairing ant. And the j&m for the cb. Fm/am worked just fine. The cb seemed fine also.

I'm trying to stay away from the amplified antennas. I plan on putting a couple of Hogtunes amps in the fairing and sometimes they don't play well together.

Thanks for the suggestions. I rarely use fm/am and never the cb, so I went with the hidden antenna. So far I haven't noticed a difference with the radio picking up local stations. I bought a cheapie off of ebay for $20. It's not amplified.
