Default New Bars...

Just finished installing my new bars (12" bagger nation apes) last night. rode into work today, they are higher than i expected, but i have to say I love them! I changed out to chrome switch covers while i was at it. i am on the hunt for new mirrors, the stock mirrors just didn't fit.
I wasn't expecting the amount of work or time it took to put them on along with cables, etc.

Onto the next project, swapping out my front wheel....

No mirrors?
If you put perch mounted mirrors on, they're gonna like like bug antenna's..

Thanks guys, i love them. i am 6'3 and these fit great, so much more comfortable than stock. i do need to find some mirros, not sure what route i will go. one thing to mention is i should have changed my riser bushing to poly.

Those look awesome. Thinking of going with mini-apes on my new to me bike, but not sure yet. I'm 6'4 and yours look like they would be very comfortable for me.

I just went with a similar setup and at 6'8" it makes a huge difference! I love the feel, even if I don't love my hands exposed to the air. I got fairing mounted mirrors installed and while they're ok, they shake a fair amount making it difficult to see out of them and the blinker/cruise control apparatus (for lake of a better word) do hang down into the mirrors some. I think if I had to do it again, I'd install some mirrors upside down...

for the price you can't beat these bars. fit and finish is awesome. i am pretty sure i am going to try and find some sleek bar mtd. mirrors. i am not into the fairing mtd. mirrors. i tried the factory mirrors mtd. up-side down, but they completely covered te speaker.
