I've had the thing on for about 500 miles now and I'm not so sure I'm in love with it. I really was hoping to be lowered a little bit, but it seems that this seat keeps me at stock height. I had a LePera Bare Bones on my Deluxe and I LOVED it. I've been leaning towards picking up a LePera Silhouette because it is narrower and lower. I wish the C&C was about 1" lower.....

 

Why don't you call up C&C and ask if they would alter it for you. Bet they would do it for free.

 

hmmmm. my C&C Solo seat sits me down more than the stock seat...or at least it sure seems that way.

 

I may just end up selling the C&C and going LePera.

 

That ends up happening to a lot of people........happens with exhausts too

 

...and handlebars, and windshields.

 

I would give the seat more of a chance than 500 miles before making a decision. You say it sits the same height as your stock seat,that should only be the case if you had a stock Low seat.I did extensive research before ordering my C&C Solo with back rest.I found it to sit the same height as my stock Low seat but it does sit farther back which kind of makes you feel like you are sitting lower.I was using an 8' inch shield just looking over the top with the stock Low seat.I just placed my order for a 6' LRS recurve to be used with my C&C Solo.I forgot to mention I almost ordered the C&C Squareback but like the exposed rear fender.It sounds to me like you are sold on the LePera and nothing wrong with that I considered those to.
