Take a look at the Corbin website and the streamliner trunk. I went solo on my SG and have trunk on the removable HD solo rack.

I too have a Streey Glide and I really like the look of the chopped tour pack. However, I guess it is what you are looking for. Is it just for a long trip, and then to take off? Then I would go with the bigger one. Because on a trip its all about functionality, you need SPACE. If it's all about the look and the sleekness I would go with the chopped one to try to keep the low lines. If not you just have an Ultra. Thats my 2 cents.

The difference between Chopped and King is four inches of height and 1000cc, the other dimensions being the same, the King being about 1/3 bigger volume. If you were touring two-up, I'd say go with the King. I tour solo and the Chopped has plenty of room. I also attach a fabric bag (HD brand) to the top rack, and I keep the helmet face shield and gloves in it. It's also big enough to fit a full-face helmet. Since the Chopped is shorter, the center of gravity is lowered, and it is a bit lighter.

Getting ready to go on a 15 day solo trip. Here's my touring setup on my Street Glide - lots of storage and plenty comfy. Best of all, it only takes about 5 minutes to swap out the seat, windshield and tour pack.
