1500 for paint, 300 to have tins removed, and another 250 for powder coat.

LOL! Well that did include removing and reinstalling all the parts painted which was the fairing, side panels, saddlebags and heat deflectors. Tank and rear fender untouched. Yeah, bit pricey maybe but the painter has a rep pretty much throughout the southwest as being one of the very best. Not sure I would spend it again.

Default Have You Had Your Harley Repainted?

Thank you all for your responses.

Wow! $1,500.00, $2,600.00 and $3,500.00??? You boys spend some money on your paint jobs. Now that I've had a chance to look at my bike with this information in mind that Silver Pearl is looking better and better

I think I'm going to opt for looking to buy an extra tank, fenders and side panels that are clean and find someone to paint them, or find an already painted set that has a nice custom color.

Harley paint is so nice I hate to re-paint it. Plus by the time I paint, most of the parts will be different anyway. Stretched bags, FBI rear fender, front wrap. Either a new stretched tank holding more fuel, or a damaged tank for cheap to cover with that CamTech piece that flows tank to (and including) side covers. Since my tour pak got damaged by a deer I guess that means the only presently painted parts going back on (meaning I'll have to re-buy) is outer batwing and the lowers.

$500.00 in paint, A lot of spare time. You can do it yourself or with the help of some friends.
