Default Heat From Dragula 2:1 Exhaust...

I just installed a set of Dragula 2:1 exhaust. The way the exhaust comes out from the right it seems to make my right leg pretty hot. For those of you that have a Dragula exhaust do you feel the heat from the right side? Is the heat shield and pipe ceramic coated or just the shields? If you do feel the heat what have you done to prevent your leg from getting too hot. Great exhaust and performance just looking for a solution to keep my leg cool.

I believe the pipe is coated, not the heat shield. I feel some heat, but very little compared to the stock 2-1 with the CAT. I don't know what to offer as a solution.

Is your pipe coated black? My exhaust looks like the heat shield is only coated.

no, he also has the inside and outside of the pipe coated, just not black. I haven't been able to ride mine a whole lot, but while I was home, I didn't notice any excessive heat..

you are always going to notice more heat with a 2-1. one of the tradeoffs. but it shouldn't be so hot that you can't tolerate it.
