Easy people...we all know how easy it is to offend people without meaning to by inserting a word like stupid into a sentence.

not shure why yours are to hot, I have the 2/1 on my bike and is less heat than my stock pipes. they are coated inside and out. with the crome heat shields.

I really didn't notice any heat difference but it's been over 90 degrees every time I've ridden the bike since getting the pipe.

Ahh, I see. That makes sense.....

So it should have read,

Stupid question; did you retune the bike after installing it? A good tune may help. I don't know.

Likely in his haste to post it came off the wrong way.

Ive been riding in 100+ degree weather with shorts on all summer and have experienced very minimal heat at all.

I confirmed with Franks my pipes are ceramic coated inside and out it's a silver coated ceramic coating. It may need to be dyno tuned not just tuning myself with TTS Master Tune or it could be the 2.30 baffle I'm using.

Usually with slower exhaust scavaging there is more heat. Might need a smaller baffle or more engine work such as a cam to force more flow. That should reduce the heat. Notice most are running 1.75 or 2.0 baffles on duals. Don't let that fool you. The jugs only pump one at a time. Should use same on a 2/1. With 2.30 baffle I believe stage 2 ( intake, exhaust, cam and tune ) on a 103 Or 110 would be ideal.

I found that I had some heat as well after initial tune. But then took it to someone who actual knows how to tune a bike. Now I have less heat than the 2-1-2 stock system. I have a 103 with SE 103 upgrade kit, SE big sucker, SE race tuner and dragula 2-1 with 2.55 baffles. Dyno 110/114. Most HD dealers don't know how to tune or under tune due to warranty of parts. My 2 cents.
