Whilst i agree with all the comments i think he was asking for options. There are fairings out there other than the batwing.

When I'm on the Road King and no windshield, I'm gonna get a harsh blast of air at anything over 50 mph. Funny thing though, when I'm on my old FLH without a windshield or fairing, I don't have this problem at all at any speed.

Well Joe you have a point, but the windshield is below your face. That's why I hardly ever clean mine.

You still get wind in your face with shield, but 90% of insects hit shield, the comfort level is much higher and you don't go deaf. The wind noise muffling is the ticket for me.

Any bike without a shield or fairing, you will get hit by wind. Look into LRS windshields. They are always having deals and discounts.

Cold and rain= windshield, otherwise its a set of earplugs. Much prefer the ride without it but its critical sometimes. That's why I have a King instead of a Glide.

WTF! Seriously? No way! Did you not figure out that on a motorcycle going at 60MPH with nothing in front of you that it would be like standing in a strong wind, one of approximately 60MPH! Did you ever stick your hand out your car window while traveling down the road? Personally with your post count I think you might be trollin' ...... but hey, maybe not, then I repeat, WTF!

I occasionally ride without my windshield, and there's a world of difference.

Bought my King this spring and have yet to ride with the windshield. Isn't the wind in your face part of the riding experience ?
