Can anyone tell me how much over I need to go on the clutch and brake line to be able to run them nice and neat along the bars?
If I had it to do over again... I'd make my clutch cable about 4-6" longer than stock. As for my brakes, I went with the right-side delete, so I have a single brake line from the master cylinder all the way to the caliper.

All I can vouch for is that +6" is way too much, I had to snake the cable around inside the fairing to make it work, no big deal but unnecessary.

here is a great thread covering the install in depth.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...rs-w-pics.html
I am getting ready to do mine as well. Just trying to find the right set of grips. I know Bertk. He is a great guy and is available to answer questions if needed.
I have the LA CHOPPERS kit and a set of 12.5" apes. I was thiniking whoever did theirs first could come over to help the other one. Or we could do them both one at a time. I'm in east mesa, have a garage and plenty of tools. I was just waiting for things to cool down. I have portable AC in my garage but needs servicing. I might have time this weekend to get that up and running. Then I would be more motivated to get started on it. Anyway if you are interested send me a PM.

I watched the LA choppers video and from the looks of it it is a time consuming task. The guy went through 3 shirts so Im guessing it took him 3 days. I have some more things to collect before I do mine. Grips, clutch cable, brake line, and Im leaning twords replacing the TBW for the one without the green plug. I cant collect those till I get a new renter settled in so it will be awhile before I get to mine. I wouldnt mind coming over to help you with yours if I lived closer. Im up in the Verde though.

I'll let you know if I run across anything worth mentioning when I do mine. I still have a little research to do myself. The green plug issue is unfamiliar to me and not sure if I need to notch my bars for TBW. I am planning on one day job though. I hope to be prepared enough to get through without any snags.

I did my stereo with the kit from Biketronics. Easy install and sounds great.

We spliced my throttle by wire cables as the connectors make routing the wires a pain in the butt....
