slip on mufflers

slip on mufflers
just purchased a new 2012 Electra Glide Ultra; planning to add V&H Twin Slash Rounds slip on mufflers; hoping to NOT have to remap/dyno, etc. This is my first EFI bike, just traded an '06 Street Glide (last of the carb-equipped bikes). Have heard that the new EFI systems will adjust to the mufflers and later to a high flow air cleaner. Any thoughts or experiences will be appreciated. Thanks

Shouldnt have any issues with just slip ons. If you also do your AC then a download or tune will be required. I know a couple people that have the twin slash on there ultras and on a RGC with no additional mods on the there bikes run fine. No decel pop or any other issues.
Ride safe.

I noticed a huge performance gain When I ditched my stock for the supertrapps, with nothing else done to the bike. Ran not only just fine but FAST (if I can use that word to describe an FLHTCU with a sport bike parked next to it). Then I installed a K&N A/C, not too noticeable, but still I didn't do anything else to the bike. Rode that for a week or two then got the Power Commander 5, gave Jamie my specs during the order, when it arrived I just installed it and have happily riding ever since. One of these day I may have it dyno'd/tuned but I see no pressing reason to as of now. The bike just runs.
