I can't find the thread but it was posted here last week. I don't know if it was correct. Could have been a rumor. Probably was BS.

Unlike you, I am looking for a little more sound out of the pipes. Not a bunch but a little more. I guess the next thing will be to get an open head pipe to get rid of the kitty restriction.

And so it goe$$$$$$.

Yep, get rid of the cat and you'll definately get more sound volume.....if it's too much you can always dial it back with some baffle wrap. If you can't or don't want to de-cat your own Check out American Custom Exhaust, you can get a de-catted one reasonably priced
