From Wausau take CTH Z (Franklin Street) east 14 miles to CTH Y, CTH Y north 1 1/2 miles to park; OR STH 52 east to CTH Y, CTH Y south to park.

Yeah, their is just something about the north woods that has always been special to me, even since I was a kid. Grew up in Thorp by Eau Claire

Damn! That does look kinda bad doesn't it. I guess it's one of those weird psychological deals; I quit smoking and not having a cig in my fingers drives me nuts sometimes, so I stick my hands in my pockets cowboy style.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. I like this breathing thing, and the money factor....

I was going nuts this year - I stay on White Birch (yes, on K) every year and this year was the first year in a long time that I didn't have my bike. Drove me absolutely nuts.

Yep we rode from Mercer to Eagle River one afternoon heading back to where we were staying and K was the main part of that stretch, it was great.
